As a Therapist and Coach in Boulder, Colorado, I work with individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of their next steps. You may be navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship patterns that keep repeating, major life transitions, or a sense of losing touch with your purpose or inner spark.
My role is to guide you back to yourself—your clarity, your courage, and the deeper truth of who you are.
“What you seek is seeking you.”
Rumi
Many people come to me describing feelings of being lost, lonely, heartbroken, creatively blocked, or weighed down by ongoing emotional cycles. You may be struggling with emptiness after a major life change, career frustration, relationship impasses, chronic stress, or the ache of unattended pain. These experiences can leave you feeling trapped in old patterns with no clear way out.

I often hear people say, “You just have to feel your feelings.” But without understanding how to truly Presence (as a verb) your emotional experience—how to access the infinite source within and without your own Being, how to understand, dance with and integrate what you are experiencing— you are likely to try to avoid it all and those feelings can become overwhelming and your life challenges more persistent and intense. Without the tools to meet your emotions and experiences skillfully, you may end up drowning in them, avoiding them, or projecting them outward.
The result is the same: life becomes heavier rather than lighter and more joyful.
The good news is this: no matter what you’ve lived through, you can learn to transform your emotional reactions and unhappy patterns in ways that open the door to freedom, creativity, meaningful connection, and genuine joy.
“There is a great wise loving silence that is already here, behind and within us all, waiting to be realized as the source of who we are.”
Loch Kelly
Even the wisest and strongest of us can not anticipate, control and prepare for everything that happens externally or internally in us and in our lives. And we wear ourselves out trying. If you’re tired of wearing yourself out I invite you to come learn a new way.
Underneath all the pain and the fragmentation there is a field that holds us all and has always held us…and always will..all we need to do is to learn how to unbury ourselves to access this natural essence and infinite source.
Our sense of worthiness, which is the ground from which we experience and engage our life, is shaped by how we were treated growing up. This is not surprising. What most don’t know though is that reacting from that treatment is what keeps us imprisoned…through addictions, defensiveness, angsty agitation, reactivity, overwhelm and being stuck. The answer is within and not through fighting or escaping.
What I Help With
People come to me for many reasons—sometimes because they feel overwhelmed by anxiety, worry, or emotional confusion, and other times because they’re navigating transitions that touch their identity, purpose, or sense of worth.
You may be seeking relief from depression or emotional disconnection, wanting to understand your feelings more clearly, or trying to move from a disempowered state into one of confidence, clarity, and inner alignment.
Many clients identify as highly sensitive and need a grounded, attuned space where their depth is understood rather than overwhelmed.
Others seek individual therapy during pivotal life chapters—retirement, empty-nesting, starting a business, or shifting careers—moments that bring both possibility and fear.
Here are some of the most common experiences I support:
- Anxiety and or depression
- Grief, loss and big life transitions
- Getting unstuck
- Living with a difficult health condition
- Relationship impasses
- Relational trauma and attachment
- Relationship Discernment Counseling (Should I stay or should I go?)
- Post divorce or break-up adjustments
- Repeated relationship Issues
- Conscious Dating
- Career dissatisfaction and transitions
- Empty nest
- Retirement
Individual therapy can also be a meaningful fit if you’re moving through inner conflict or self-doubt, struggling with confidence or worthiness, or noticing patterns—emotionally, relationally, creatively, or professionally—that you’re ready to shift.
Who Individual Therapy is For
Some clients arrive feeling blocked creatively or uncertain about big decisions, such as launching a business, pursuing a new career path or leaving a long term relationship. Others are unpacking the impact of career trauma or years of pushing through without understanding the cost to all areas of their life: health, meaningful relationships, soulful and joyful living.
These experiences can leave you feeling stuck or disconnected from yourself, unsure how to access your intuition, energy, or deeper desires.
You may be a good fit for individual therapy if you’re experiencing any of the following:
- Feeling overwhelmed or unsure how to process your emotions and inner experience
- Repeating patterns you can’t seem to shift
- Struggling with clarity, direction, or decision-making
- Moving through a major life transition and wanting support
- Feeling disconnected from your creativity, purpose, or sense of self
Therapy doesn’t require a crisis—only a willingness to listen inward and create space for what’s been asking for your attention.
Together, we soften and untangle the places where you feel stuck, disempowered, or uncertain so you can reconnect with your inner strength, access your feelings with confidence, and move beyond over-efforting to live a life that reflects your true self.

What to Expect in Our Work Together
Beginning therapy is an important step, and I want you to feel supported, informed, and grounded from the very first session.
My approach is collaborative, gentle, and deeply attuned. Our work together involves slowing down, understanding emotional and bodily cues, and gently uncovering patterns that have shaped your life—often outside your awareness.
In our sessions, we create space for what’s true and present, without forcing or fixing. I help you build the capacity to stay with your feelings in a way that brings clarity rather than overwhelm. Together, we uncover the patterns, protective strategies, and old stories that have kept you stuck by attending to the vulnerable scared parts underneath.
We will work toward integrating all of your parts and experiences so you can respond to life with greater ease, authenticity, and emotional freedom. The next level of freedom then presents itself where the work becomes more spiritual and less psychological. These two levels can be explored and engaged together as wanted by you.
Clients often describe our work as grounding, effective, transformative, and unexpectedly illuminating as well as spacious. My intention is always the same: to help you reconnect with your essential self so you can move through the world with more presence, freedom, confidence, and choice.
